With a tight deadline, they were able to source and work with challenging materials including glass and aluminum walls, poured terrazzo flooring, and imported, finely cut marble. They managed to work in a difficult environment, kept costs in check, and delivered a stellar result within the given budget and time frame.”
Commission by iconic designer Thom Browne to build the brand's Dover Street Market location, Stewart - Schafer constructed a one - of - a - kind retail experience to dramatically enhance the brand’s collection. The space dubbed as the "jewelry box of Dover Street Market New York," was the most precious shop within the store, surrounded by glass walls and signature blinds. Stewart - Schafer beautifully captured the brand’s signature aesthetic with a masculine, tailored interior with industrial and Mid - Century touches. The space features luxurious mate rials including a poured terrazzo floor, custom marble shoe plinths and custom glass walls for a high - end look that matches the brand’s design philosophy.
